Build-your-own nasal spray kit
Nasal spray kit directions
You scanned the 0.9% NaCl Solution vial. These directions show how the three parts of the kit go together: the lyophilized peptide vial, the 0.9% NaCl proprietary solution and the spray bottle. The result is a 10 mL research solution at the strength printed on the spray bottle label.

What is in the kit
Amber glass, lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder, filler-free. The lot number is on the front of the label; scan the QR on the back for its certificate of analysis.
A clear 10 mL vial of our proprietary nasal-spray solution. The whole vial is used.
Amber glass with a metered pump: about 0.1 mL per press, 90–120 sprays per 10 mL.
Each individually wrapped. The syringe is a 5 mL barrel, so the 10 mL of solution moves in two draws.
You will also need (not included): nitrile gloves and a clean, dry work surface.
Six steps
-

Set up
Work on a clean, dry surface and wear gloves. Flip the white caps off both vials to expose the stoppers. Open the alcohol wipe and wipe both stoppers, then let them air-dry for 30–60 seconds. Keep the peptide vial out of direct light.
-

Draw up the solution
Unwrap the syringe and plunger and fit them together. The syringe holds 5 mL, so the solution moves in two draws: pull about 5 mL of air into the syringe, push it into the solution vial to equalize the pressure, then draw 5 mL of the 0.9% NaCl solution.
-

Add it to the peptide vial
Push the needle through the peptide vial’s stopper and aim it at the inside glass wall, not at the powder. Let the solution run slowly down the wall; this protects the peptide’s structure. Go back for the second 5 mL and add it the same way, until the solution vial is empty. Want a higher concentration? Stop after the first 5 mL and leave the rest of the solution vial unused: the peptide is then dissolved in half the volume, so the solution is twice as concentrated and the bottle holds about half as many sprays. Write the volume you used on the bottle label.
-

Swirl until clear
Roll the vial between your palms or swirl it in slow circles for one to two minutes, until the powder has fully dissolved and the solution is clear. Never shake it.
-

Fill the spray bottle
Unscrew the pump from the spray bottle. Draw the clear solution back into the syringe, 5 mL at a time, and empty it into the bottle; two draws move the full 10 mL (or 5 mL if you stopped after the first draw). Screw the pump back on until it is tight.
-

Prime, date and refrigerate
Hold the bottle upright and press the pump three to five times, pointed away from you, until a fine mist appears. Write the preparation date on the label. Store the bottle upright at 2–8 °C, protected from light, and never freeze it. Once reconstituted, use within the research/testing window to maintain integrity.
Good to know
The spray bottle label states the total peptide and the resulting concentration, for example 10mg/10ml (1mg/ml). The pump is metered at about 0.1 mL per press. We do not provide dosing or administration guidance.
Every peptide vial is lot-numbered and independently tested. Scan the QR on the back of its label, or open Lab Results below.
Keep the peptide vial lyophilized and cold as stated on its product page (typically −20 °C), and keep the solution vial sealed until use.
